Welcome from Principal Conn

I am excited to join West Ridge as a Wildcat! I've truly appreciated learning about our school, student achievements, and community partnerships that have occurred throughout the years. This is a wonderful school community that seeks the best for each and every student that comes through our doors!

As I enter the 2025-2026 school year, this will be my 12th year in the 27J Schools District. My experience ranges from elementary, to middle school, and in high school as an administrator, teacher, para, and secretary in three different districts. Throughout my 12 years in 27J, I’ve serviced students as a teacher and administrator at Brighton High School, Riverdale Ridge High School, and North Elementary School. Outside of the public school setting, I’ve worked in banking and as a children’s director. I believe all these experiences and leadership opportunities have led me to West Ridge.

A small bit about me...My husband and I have been blessed to be married for over 30 years. We currently live in the 27J School District, and all three of our children graduated from Brighton High School. They are each married with children of their own, six grands in total. So, over the past few years, we've become very busy with the littles. Together, we enjoy the mountains, sitting on the porch, watching movies, volunteering, spending time with friends, and hanging out with family. We are all about trying something new; so when we are able, we like to visit local restaurants sported on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives or travel to a place we've never been before. 

I believe in the value of all, that an education stays with a person for a lifetime, and that all students can find success. I also believe this happens when all stakeholders partner together for EVERY student. I'm looking forward to doing this with you. Whether you are new to us or returning to West Ridge, we will be here to partner with you as your Wildcat grows and learns!
